Three's Program
Our three’s program continues to lay the foundation for learning and for interaction with their world. The classroom activities include dramatic play, literacy, pre-handwriting skills, pre-math skills such as sorting, sequencing, size, patterns, time, space, matching, and one to one correspondence. They investigate science, the weather and how things work through play, hands on activities, and the use of Scholastic magazines. They continue to develop self-help skills, negotiating conflict through positive modeling and reinforcement, shapes, letters, sounds, counting, recognizing their name and beginning cutting skills. They enjoy chapel, art, music and movement, recess time on a playground that is designed to allow them to develop their small and large motor skills, role play and develop deeper friendships with their peers.
